With experience built up over 25 years in commercial industry across a range of roles, Dermot brings a practical and pragmatic approach to business transformation and efficiency through technology. Commercially aware and very much operations focused, Dermot has managed both the technology and commercial aspects of business change and service delivery across the Irish, UK and US markets.  He now advises organisations on various issues in order to drive their success.

Experience

Dermot has spent nearly three decades delivering business value through technology and technical oversight across a range of business sectors including retail, financial services, telecommunications, renewables and government. Prior to his current role, Dermot held Executive positions in renewable energy, payments, software solutions and consulting businesses. As a senior member of management teams, he contributes significantly to organisational vision, business strategy and operational excellence.

In more recent roles, Dermot was responsible for creating IT strategies and aligning the IT function with key business units to position the company for rapid growth. His experience has led him to be a highly collaborative leader with superb experience in digital transformation and business change design.
